Leatt’s Korey McMahon and Daniel Milner Dominate 2025 Hattah Desert Race
Leatt racers were out in force at the 2025 instalment of the infamous Hattah Desert Race outside Mildura, Victoria, over the weekend. Hattah is one of the most prestigious races on the off-road calendar and a trophy every racer dreams of hanging on their mantel.
It was highs and lows for the KTM DM31 Racing Team, the Leatt-clad trio adding the Prologue and Senior Race wins to the trophy cabinet at the hands of Daniel Milner and Korey McMahon, respectively.
Meanwhile third team member, Jonte Reynders suffered an unfortunate DNF, pulling the pin after four laps having sustained injuries in a collision with another rider when entering the pits to refuel on lap one.
Congrats to the boys on their solid efforts. Korey’s trajectory is looking steep and stellar under the guidance of team manager and 10x Australian Enduro Champion and ISDE Winner, Milner. We’re excited to see what the team can achieve through the rest of 2025.
Empire Motorsports Feel the Force at Hattah
Empire Motorsports’ Will Price swapped his usual KX250 for a desert-prepped KX450 and did #leattfamily proud, coming home 15th in the prologue, and 19th outright in the main event. An impressive ride, Price said “It’s hard to beat the buzz of Hattah Fever but the race never gets any easier!”
Flying the Empire and Leatt flag in the Small Wheel and Big Wheel Junior classes respectively were the brothers, Koby and Nate Munro.
Nate had a consistent ride, placing runner-up in the prologue and 5th in the main race — a massive jump up from his 15th in 2024!
Koby prologued 6th and finished 11th in his Small Wheel race.
Hunting down the top ten
Shout out to Hunter Semmens on his strong finish just outside the top ten. The #leattfamily racer’s 12th place continues his steady progress, year on year. If his trend continues, he’ll crack the top ten in 2026, and we’d love to see it!
